Internet News and How It Differs From Traditional Media
The tides have changed for news outlets everywhere. The time from when the only sources were radio, television, and newspaper have given way towards a new era of digital media and social networking. The change in how the internet delivers news is interesting. Some advancements have been made, but the information age didn’t get its nickname “information”, for no good reason. Let’s first look at the difference between print media, and internet news sites.
With a traditional paper, or magazine, you have a staff of reporters/writers, editors, fact checkers, photographers, and a chief editor. On the Internet most writers are their own editors, and they are their own fact checkers. Internet news is instant, but this advantage over other news media comes with a disadvantage of needing to feed a constant desire for new content to readers. Often times there is more plagiarism in internet news sites vs. traditional media. On the flip side, news print costs a lot more, and has the disadvantage of not being able to break a news story right away. In order to complete most newspapers and magazine have information on their website for late breaking news.
Whichever way you choose to read the latest news stories there is something for everyone. The Internet has definitely altered the way we get news these days, but there are still the traditional people who prefer to read their newspaper in the morning with a cup of coffee.

Internet has gotten much more handy now, and I’m sure it’ll keep on evolving. This is a good post!
Yeah I still think reading newspapers is the best choice for me.
